What to expect Sunday
9:30AM Worship Service
Throughout the summer months, June-August, we gather at 9:30AM for worship in our sanctuary. Because we have both a traditional service and a contemporary service throughout the year, you can expect to encounter both of these in the summer on an every-other week basis. On traditional weeks, we incorporate our historical liturgies, pipe organ and hymnals to guide our worship. On contemporary weeks, we utilize our praise band and liturgies and prayers that reflect our Lutheran heritage.
10:45am | Coffee & Italian sodas
Following our service, everyone is invited to join us in the main hallway, located just outside the sanctuary, for cookies, coffee and made-to-order Italian Sodas. If you’d like to sit and visit, the Kairos Room - located at the back of the sanctuary - has plenty of tables and chairs.
Summer family events
On the last Sunday of each month, we invite our families, parents, grandparents and kids to join together in the gym for our “Rewind. Be Kind.” family activities. The gym is located through the small hallway past the Italian Soda Bar.
When is Communion served?
We celebrate Holy Communion each Sunday as a central aspect of our worship and life together.
We believe that Holy Communion is not merely symbolic, but rather a Means of Grace, by which Jesus gives us forgiveness and grace. We believe in the real presence of Christ, meaning that Jesus’s body and blood are truly, miraculously present in the elements of bread and wine. If you have been baptized and have received instruction about the Lord’s Supper, we invite you to partake of the Supper with us.
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in! We have a wide variety of attire at our services, ranging from full suits to button-downs to T-shirts, a flannel and blue jeans.
Where Should I Park?
You are welcome to park at our front lot (adjacent to Highway 99) and enter through our main entrance, or park in our rear parking lot and enter through our Gym entrance.
Where do my kids go?
We want your family to be able to worship together, so kids & littles are welcomed to stay in worship with us, even if they get a little noisy! Activity bags for children are available at the center entrance to the Sanctuary. We also have a nursery available, located down the hallway by the main entrance. While it is not currently staffed, it is always open. If you would like help or an attendant, just ask our ushers or staff and they will be happy to help you!
The Kairos Classroom, adjacent to the back of the Sanctuary, is equipped with audio feed from the service and is open for parents and children to use during the service.
